Stunning Ocean Views and Great Location
I was thrilled with the spacious deluxe ocean room that offered stunning views of the Pacific. The brunch was amazing, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is perfect—close to downtown yet in a peaceful area. However, the lack of complimentary breakfast was a disappointment.

the lucerna hotel has a fantastic location right on the pacific ocean. the deluxe ocean room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a lovely full patio. brunch was excellent, and the staff really stood out for their friendliness. we also enjoyed the outdoor pool and spa tub during our stay!
would recommend.

Great location, but service needs work
So we stayed one night and the hotel was right by the ocean, which was awesome! The room was spacious and clean. But, wow, the service was really off. Took ages to get drinks at the bar, and housekeeping went overboard with bleach—pretty overwhelming! The brunch was nice tho! Would've loved better service.

I had a fantastic time visiting the nearby Acuario Oceanico, which is just around 3 km away, and strolling through the scenic Tara Garden, a short walk from the hotel, making each day an exciting adventure with stunning views.

The dining situation, especially the breakfast spread, was absolutely delicious and hit all the right notes! The pool area felt like a mini paradise, perfect for a chill afternoon. And can I just say, the views from the deluxe ocean room are to die for!
The bar service was hit or miss, we had to hunt down the waiter for our orders, and the jacuzzi was a no-go when we were counting on it.
